London Kali Bari in association with London Sharad Utsav presents noted Tagore singer Ms Pramita Mallick at the Harrow Arts Centre on the 5th of November, 2010 from 7:00pm
Pramita Mallick was born & brought up in Santiniketan and started taking lessons in Rabindra Sangeet from a very tender age. Among her tutors were Santidev Ghosh, Kanika Banerjee, the late Nilima Sen, Shri Subinoy Roy and others. She has taken lessons in Indian Classical music from Guru Kumar Prasad Mukherjee, lessons in Old Bengali Songs from Mr. Chandidas Mal. She is an artiste of the National Radio and Television and a member of the ICCR. She has a large number of cassettes and CD's to her credit. She is at present a number of the Advisory body of Rabindrasadan, Kolkata.
Entry is 7.00 GBP for this event and goes towards raising awareness and funds for a community centre - any donations welcome and gratefully accepted.
