The biggest ever Kali Puja in London was organised at London Kalibari on 17th October, 2009 at the Harrow Arts Centre
It was an evening of Puja, Cultural Program, food and fun.
The event saw a record breaking attendance of around 800 people turning up for the Puja and followed by the redition of Panchadeepmala by Ananda Gupta and his team and a fantastic rendition of Bengali and Hindi songs by the very popular and ever medolious voice of Sreeradha Bandyopadhya from Calcutta!
Even the subsequent food of 'mangsho bhaat', complete with mishti doi and rasogolla was a huge hit!
We are sure, we will keep this tempo up in doing a bigger and more colourful Kali Puja next year and where we expect you all to come and attend.
